Last time I checked Lacy qualified to fight for the Olympics for the US a good boxing country and won the IBF and made 4-5 defences then suffered a brutal beating in a unifacation and suffered a terrible injury next fight. Anyone who's done boxing knows how hard that is to do.

Bute has skills Lacy can only dream of. Lacy relied on power, and it got him a ways vs. lesser comp. His fight vs. Richard Grant was an eye opener on Lacy as well. Hard to imagine how Lacy could have NO jab at all after all he went through.

At this time nothing in truth.
Lacys resume is actually better than many would have you believe.
Lacy beat top 10 world rated SMWs Vanderpool, Pemberton, Tsypko and Reid. Lacy also beat Sheika who was frindge at the time and after Calzaghe ruined Lacy, Lacy beat a top 10 SMW.

Overall Lacys resume is right up there with Butes, but Bute is fighting in a weaker era and will probably go further. Still as I have said before they all look good until they lose

Man for man there isn't much in it at the moment...Bute has some fought some rubbish but I couldn't see him struggling that much with the likes of Sheika or Manfredo.

    Let me try

Bute achieved to be the best body puncher in the world today

He achieved to have the best uppercut in the game today

At the end of his carreer he will be known as one of the best body puncher in history because we have to be clear here...

look at his hightlights....look how many times he Ko an opponant with a single shot to the body....maybe 10 to 15 so far.

I have never seen somoane to hurt so many fighters with one single shot.

I vave seen many good body puncher who finished their opponant with an accumulation of body shots

    Lucian is somethig else really.

Ask Magee-Andrade and even Glenn Johnson....it's like a surgery.

After the first round...Johnson did want to throw his right because of a body shot at the end of the first round.

Froch will be the next to understand what is a real body puncher.

:scaredas:He is a totallly different animal than other fighters in the world today

there was nothing brutal about lacys loss to joe clinical maybe butte is still progressing in the fight game while lacy flamed out quickly but it is not witout saying lucian needs to step up oppisition

Also apparently, Andrade did not eat for 2 days after his devastating loss from a shot to the liver . His liver was to swelling

    To answer the question.......nothing really.

If you are asking who the better fighter is/was......I'd say Bute easy.

1 Bute has beaten a reigning champion and did not win a vacated title
