He got hit more when he fought pac prime or not. MAB made him kiss the canvass and barrera wasn't exaclty in his prine as well.

 

He's getting hit more now simply because he changed his style a bit into a more offensive-oriented fighter. Its not because he's past his prime or anything like that. JMM is in the prime of his career just like Pacquiao. Don't let his age fool you.

 

Because the Casa and Barrera wins are really good wins for him.

I agree. Barrera was past his prime but still dangerous as he was coming off a number of consecutive wins defending his WBC belt. Same with Casamayor who was coming off a devastating KO win against the young and hungry Katsidis.

The thing is I actually don't have a problem if people rank Joe over JMM. Their interchangeable IMO. But the reason why I personally put JMM in the #2 spot is because of his 2 EXTREMELY close fights with the P4P#1. His wins against Barrera and Casamayor along with the 2 close fights with Pacquiao puts him slightly above Joe IMO.

MAB did not put up much of a fight but he lost lopsidedly against Pac while MAB was very competitive against JMM whom he even knocked down. JMM was expected to win against an aging down-the-hill Casa.
Except for the close fights against Pac, he hasn't done much to merit a higher P4P rating. JC should be #2 who hasn't lost a fight.
