What has Mikkel Kessler done to warrant such a high rating?

Is that true? I don't remember hearing that unless I was drunk?

So are we saying Kessler dominated for 12 rounds showing no ill effects WHILST having a broken nose for 10 rounds? Are you trying to boost him? :yep

So maybe he was hurt, but only superficially. That isn't really hurt in a boxing sense.

Kessler gave Calzaghe all sorts of problems in the first half of their fight, in front of a massive crowd of Calzaghe fans. He's beaten Andrade, Beyer and Mundine comfortably. His last opponent wasn't that great, but you can't begrudge him that one after coming off his first defeat - most fighters do the same in that situation. Haussler's a mandatory, so once he's out of the way he can get after the bigger fights again. Either way, there's no doubting he's a ****ing talented fighter - as long as he doesn't go the way of Ottke and stay fighting at home all the time (and there's no real reason to think he will) then there's no reason for him not to dominate SMW.

Anyone with just a little boxingknowledge and no bais could see that Hopkins won two rounds + a knockdown and wasn't nowhere near a victory. (Kessler won four rounds clear - in Wales)

As for the last remark - who? - which fighters don't you favor Kessler against in 160-175?

I don't believe in that theory Andrade has got a lot better. It can only be very marginal. Kessler-Andrade was only 1.5 years ago.

As Andrade said, Kessler was just too quick and his footwork was too good. If you can't catch someone you can't look good.

Why would he have got much better in 1.5 years? He can only have got slightly better, don't expect a miracle in 1.5 years.

He only fought a bum, than Mack and Stieglitz since then. Good performances, but they are both steps down from Kessler and Bute.

What do you see that he does much better?

    Less punches,less accuracy,less footwork.

That isn't true because Calzaghe already beat him, although in theory you could be right if Calzaghe is God himself.
