The problem with Vitali Klitschko is that he feasts on the weakest heavyweights in the division. If he fights at least 3 or 4 of the following names, he is great in my book:

    Andrzej Wawrzyk 19-0
    Yakup Saglam 26-0
    Andriy Rudenko 18-0
    Vladimir Tereshkin 17-0
    Alexander Povetkin 19-0
    Denis Botsyov 27-0
    Alexander Ustinov 21-0
    Alexey Soloviev 17-0

Dominated, wether all his opponents have been crap is irrelevant. The guy has dominated nearly everyone in that division along wiht his brother.

A great of his era, albeit a shite era

If Ali would live in the same time... well... You know. I don't find based mostly on resume ATG lists that important. Prefer to imagine H2H match ups and Vitali is top 10 for sure in there.

Much like other ATGs, Vitali's only losses are due to him being defeated.

He's been dominant in his era. Only two losses by injury.

And what caused those injuries against Lewis? I'll tell you - legal blows to the face.

Sometimes I wonder if Vitali was the first fighter to lose by TKO as a result of cuts.

Furthermore if Haye cops a lot of flack for being a paper titlist (which he is), why doesn't Vitali?

Vitali did beat WBC champion Peter Haye did not beat the real WBa champion you dumb ass Brit.:D

Edit. And im not considering Vitali an ATG, his resume is pretty bad despite the great fighter he is.

    A) Vitali didn't deserve that title shot.

    B) Valuev was the rightful WBA champ you Finnish spastic. Try viewing the situation objectively - Chagaev didn't defend his title for 13 months. I respect he had a legitimate injury that prevented him from getting in the ring, but the WBA should've stripped him of his title and installed him as mandatory challenger, instead of declaring him the 'champion in recess'.

What if the fans got what they wanted and there was only one title per weight class? What if the champ got injured and was unable to defend his title for over a year?

Furthermore you've got a pretty rigid definition of what constitutes a paper champ; in my book, if you're not the consensus number one in the division you're technically a paper champ.
