What has Vitali Klitschko done to be considered ATG?

Didn't deserve it??? do you see who gets title shots these days??? how didn't he?? how monte barret get a title shot vs valuev?? how did holyfield get a title shot vs iggy and valuev?? how did haye get a title shot?? sonowski?? ruiz multiple times?? Vitali was the champion. he came out of retirement and won back what was his. its not that complicated

 

So basically you're ignoring the fact that his opposition has been terrible. Yes he has been incredibly unfortunate with injuries which have robbed him of four or so years, but such is life. He can't be labelled an ATG on the basis of what could've of been.

And he wasn't dominating Lewis - he was ahead on points.

 

I see somebody doesn't understand the difference between a fighter choosing a patsy or undeserving contender as a voluntary, in order to make an easy defence, and and an organisation insisting that their champ fight a man who had been retired for four years.

Since he has been champ for so long, and he is 1 of 2 K-Bros, he/they will get shoved into the HOF anyway, but there are much more deserving fighters that are not in yet lets be honest. Solid hall of famer, not an HW ATG though IMO.

vitqli is not an ATG because he hasnt earned it yet. he quit on his stool vs chris byrd for crying out loud, that prevents anyone becoming atg by default!
