What has Ward done to deserve the shot at Froch?

The first fight was close, but I felt then Froch was past best and getting on. Now I think Froch is further faded, though I do think Ward got to fight a fatigued Froch, rather than a fresh Froch.

It would be good if they were to fight and this time in the UK, but I dont think Ward would be willing to travel abroad.

What kind of chance would you give Froch? Id like to see him just go ***** out from round 1 make it really really sloppy, Wards tough but if its in England or somwhere out of his comfort zone I think Froch could get too him, especially with Wrds inacitivty recently might throw him off

It was a comfortable easy decision where there was no doubt whatsoever that Ward was the superior specimen. Regardless of the bogus scorecards, Froch hardly deserved to win any rounds. Never "hurt"? I don't know. Those left hooks seemed to do adequate damage from my vantage point.

Froch is smart enough to know that he's Ward's inferior, so I doubt a rematch happens.

Yeah I think it depends what Froch turns up. Even now that he is getting on I wouldnt count Froch out.
I think Froch challenging for a title rather than defending is a different animal.
Look at Froch when challenging Pascal, how he seemed up for it, then not as good against Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, then up for it when challenging again against Abraham and then not as good against Johnson and Ward, then up for it again when challenging Bute, going for the rematch with Kessler he seemed up for it, then not so good against Groves 1 and then against Groves in the rematch he seemed to do better

I like Froch more than Ward but even with his looong layoff, Ward probably wins 8-4 in rematch, which should be in England.

Edwin Rodriguez was a tune up for Ward after over a year of inactivity.

For s supposed "warrior" shouldn't Froch try to avenge his loss to Ward. He was happy to rematch Kessler despite Kessler's inactivity and Kessler not doing much to receive that title shot.

Why is Froch scared of a 2 year inactive fighter?

Ward is epitome of high risk low reward, would you want to fight someone who obviously doesn't like fighting and prefers to hold, clinch, headbutt, wrestle and do everything within his power to not get hit, I like Ward but he's a spoiler, granted a great spoiler, he makes opponents look bad and outpoints them nothing more. He's the best at what he does, which isn't fighting which is what Froch prefers.

I find it funny you thought Froch was past his prime going into the Ward fight. If You can't understand how absurd that sounds then I don't know what to tell you. Froch biggest wins came after his 12 rounds 400 level course with Ward. Contemplate on that for a second and then think back to your claim of Froch passing his prime before the Ward fight and understand why I found your opinion very amusing.

    Translation:

"I know ward is too fast and too strong for Froch. Froch can't can't fight on the inside where Ward knows so much and Froch so very little and is not fast enough to catch Ward nor outbox him from the outside. Ward judge of distance posses too much of a riddle for Froch to solve within 12 rounds. Even after two years of inactivity I still think Ward is too much for my man Froch"
