It would work both ways if both were making offers. But that isn't the case here.

Joshua is the one making the offers and until Wilder accepts one there won't be a fight.

Are you saying Wilders team will not make any counter offers?

I'm predicting they won't. What do you think?

I'm not the least bit interested in any of that.

I just want to see Joshua-Wilder and when Joshua offers Wilder what he wants we'll get that fight. Until then...

One of them is playing with dollars and the other one is playing with cents. The one with the dollars decides

I’m not an AJ rider, hell I want to see the fight too. But it’s no different than any other a-side **** that we’ve heard on this forum for years...

I hear what you are saying, but that is not what's happening.

Joshua is making the bidding. He is making the offers. Wilder is the one waiting to be satisfied with an offer before he accepts the fight.

I’m only a halfway decent poker player but once I get up a bunch it gets easier to toy with people

But you're implying that Wilder is the one in a position of power and that's full on BS. The only power at play here is one's drawing power. When Wilder's team produces fights the most he's ever gotten is 2.1m. AJ's last opponent got anywhere from 11m to 18m depending on who one believes.

Wilder could in fact think like you do and believe he is in the drivers seat. He could miss the destination alright and be out millions but he probably will not miss it given that he's been content making peanuts comparatively.

In other words Wilder does not have the luxury to play hardball

Bang on. I don't like it and never have but I've put up with it because to be honest it makes some sense when you're talking money and what you bring to the table.

I'm like every other boxing fan, I just want to see fights but..

I've sat here recently enough and read about Canelo Vs Golovkin, how GG should just accept what he is offered, WHY.. because of his PPV numbers, his fanbase, his previous biggest purse. He should be happy with that 10 million flat offer.

Going back, I remember Mayweather Vs Pacquiao and how Mayweather was the "A-Side" and Pacquiao has to accept that and that Mayweather will get and deserves a bigger slice of the pie.

These same people who spouted this stuff want to change the "rules".
Now it's about Wilder bringing "interest" and a devalued WBC belt. It's nothing to do with numbers now, nothing to do with the money they can generate.

Maybe some of these people have short term memory loss or they are just blatant hypocrites.
