Reading this , kinda saddened me.. I think there is no way they won't fight, THEY WILL!! then I thought about Ali's daughter Laila All-Lies. I mean Ali.
Ann Wolfe around 6-1 said she would fight her for a hamburger. Laila moves up a weight class.
Ann Wolfe wins MW, SMW, LHW... Now she is like 24-1. She won every title, so belts were invented overnight for Laila, now a million dollar purse...first in women's history. Laila went on tv and said Ann turned it down.

I'm thinking naw! Can't be, but she did. Her words: " I chased her up 3 classes, won every title, now this Bi#!tch says 100,000 for me and brought up the hamburger 15 wins and 4 titles ago? And she wants $900,000? "That was a fu#2kin slap in the face."
Ann retired without ever fighting her..fortunately she got a % from James Kirkland and did the Wonderwoman movie but I digress---
Reading your post----It is possible for AJ to undercut Dwild.

Side note: I have a post fight where Hagler complained about a guy...I offered him $10,000 ...who turns down that kinda money LOL! Ken Norton 3 fights before Ali fought for $300. And there were definately $50,000 fight happening regularly.
Not Norton, Lyle, Shavers, Foreman, Frazier ever had to haggle with Ali for a solid purse. This sorry azz haggling is the result of MoneyMay era. Sad. I don't blame AJ, nor his team. It's just today's boxing game.

15 million for Joshua and 1 million for Wilder.

Wilder has the final piece of the belt that Joshua wants. If Joshua wants to complete the set he needs to pay whatever Wilder demands, since there's no other way the fight gets made. On the other hand, if Joshua is content to bypass the fight he could still make millions, whereas Wilder's options are relatively limited.

If I was Joshua I'd hold out on Wilder's demands but still put pressure on him to make the fight. Wilder will either cave in or one of the ham and eggers he routinely fights will do away with him and no one gives a toss anymore. There's no way I'd accede to the ridiculous demands Wilder is asking for.

Take the offer its more than you deserve...

The article I linked above also says that Parker was a total purse of 40 mil and Klitschko 50 mil. But Joshua earned more vs Parker because of the bigger split That he got.

They think that the total purse against Wilder will be three Times bigger than the Klitschko purse. Thus "lowballing" the usual 1 million Wilder.

Wilder has been offered 12 million hasn't he?

I'm not sure why anyone would think Wilder would generate anything close to Wlad.

Yeah, but they Think that it Will be 12.5 out of a total of 150 million... 3 times bigger than the Klitschko fight..

Somehow they Think that Wilder is gonna leap jump from his usual 1 million to 100 million to wake up the US market just cause its a unification fight.

Eddie Hearn doesnt trust those numbers because of the regular numbers Wilder draws usually.

It's remarkable how this fight is somehow being turned into some huge mega fight in the States. There is nothing to suggest that is the case at all. It is a big fight yes but it certainly isn't generating double of AJ vs Wlad.

That's the amazing thing about this, Wilder is in reality will be massively overpaid for this fight. Parker was too, Hearn knew this even before the Parker fight he said he would have to over pay the other title holders considerably to unify all the belts.

There have been other big fights in the past like Mayweather/Pac, Mayweather/Hatton, Oscar/Tito, Lewis/Holyfield, Wlad/Haye, Lewis/Tyson etc but both sides where more equal in terms of drawing power than we have with AJ/Wilder.

Tito was a much smaller draw than Oscar but even he only got 28% based on the guarantees and his guarantee was not even double his biggest previous purse. Wilder in comparison will be making almost 6 times his purse just for this first offer.

I can't recall another fighter like Joshua who was so much a bigger draw having to pay so much to get other champions to fight him. Does anyone know of any examples?
