He bent the knee to Stannis Baratheon. Stannis is God. Ward claims to be his son. He couldn't risk giving up any of his Kings' Blood to the enemy for study. That is needed exclusively for sacrifice when the glory of God and fate of thousands are at stake.


But that's just my speculation...

Ward realized that fans had sided with Pacquiao's refusal to accept PED testing in the much publicized negotiations over the years with an opponent of his. So he figured he would do what the fans would support and that is no testing at all beyond what the local commission demands. Ward knows that fans think there is nothing remotely wrong or sketchy about that. He knows that many, maybe even a majority based on some forum polls over the years *cough*, boxing fans believe PED's do not help but actually hinder an opponent. So refusing additional drug testing makes the fans agree with the refusing party. Duh.

Basically, he paid attention to prior precedent. But that is just my speculation.

 

Even more speculation...

Ward is broke. Flat out broke. He lost his money on some bad investments.

Mostly a business of turning businesses into hybrid businesses. So, for example, he made the Church 'n Chicken Shack. All chicken wings come wrapped in a page from the Bible. Free chicken on Sundays with a donation of $50 to the basket. That sort of stuff... He also made Church 'n Chicks. It's a strip joint where you can ask forgiveness for your sins from the priests right as you walk out the door... Then there is Church 'n XXX. It's not an adult film store where the movies play sermons in the background audio (that's Church 'n Watch). Church 'n XXX was a reboot of the awesome super sick movie franchise. It features Vin Diesel reprising his role and having to clean out the local Bulgarian church (he's been living there for a while now, long retired, even starting to grow some hair atop his head once again now that the stresses of his lifestyle are long gone) from corruption and replace the heads of the church with reliable leaders. Turns out they're corrupt too. Ward cancelled the release of the already filmed and finished movie because it painted the church as villains, something contrary to his initial goal.

Thus, he could not afford the extra testing demanded by Edwin.

However, full disclosure here sweetheart, that too is just speculation.

That's like saying if you're dark toned and Limey then it's Khan.

Or if you're pale toned and Mexican then it's Canelo.

Or, in my case, if you're Italian-American and don't have much KO power then it's Paulie.

kinda unfair knowing Ward's opposition in the last 3 years.
2 fights against 9 (2 against 10 two weeks from now).

 

Golovkin, obviously, by some distance.

Ward's resume is better overall.

 

Ward beat Dawson 3 years ago which is better than any Golovkin win to date and will most likely be a better win than any Golovkin win in the future. So that alone trumps Golovkin's trash can man duties. So Imma go with Ward by a close one. His lack of fights makes it close, but he still shades it.
