If I was AJ and had just gone through hell beating Parker (which is very possible) to earn a fourth world championship belt in 20 odd fights, the last thing I would want is some low life, gangsta wanna be gobshite, dressed like a 70's pimp from a Dirty Harry movie stealing my lime light.

AJ has stated he would happily invite Wilder into the ring post fight but, would not stand for him gate crashing and grand standing in front of Parkers team which would be down right disrespectful.

What you have to understand, is that Joshua wants absolutely nothing to do with Wilder. The same way he wanted nothing to do with his own baby boy until the press got on his back showing embarrassing pictures of the mother and son in a bed bug ridden hostel bedsite, to the point where he was forced to get involved because it threatened his public perception.

In this moment in time, his public perception in regards to Wilder isn't comprised, because Wilder can be easily be painted as the bad guy who is the problem preventing the fight from happening. The hate for this man is so deep, that many will disregard the facts and statements made by Hearn and Joshua saying they would like to wait and wait until the time is right, taking out restraining orders and using other men(such as Whyte) as protective shields and instead willingly believe that Wilder is the problem.

Any other fighter coming out with these kind of stalling tactics would rightly be called a ducker and a coward.

 

The thing is Wilder is trying to piggyback off of Joshua's success. AJ keeps delivering exciting fights against top level HW competition.

Meanwhile, Wilder has knocked out like 35 bums and 2 over the hill fat guys. And almost got himself KO'ed in the process.

What I think AJ wants Wilder to do is build his name by himself. AJ has built himself up without Wilder? Why can't Wilder do the same thing?

Wilder sounds like the nerd at school who is upset that the cool kids won't let him hang out with him. It's so pathetic and degrading. Somebody needs to tell Wilder that AJ doesn't respect you. He doesn't want to be your friend. he doesn't want to hang out. He doesn't want to shoot the ****.

Not sure i understand the argument here when talking about Wilder going 40-0 fighting bums. He wants to fight Joshua instead of another bum and so Wilder is in the wrong?
