Haven't Hearn and Joshua come out and called that pure fiction? Wilder is a shitbag. Joshua has said that, just like he did with Wlad, he would invite Wilder in the ring after the fight but it will be on his terms - as the fighter in the ring. That seems fair enough, no? Even outwith that, what kind of moron do you have to be to believe that pathetic cop-out from Wilder? Who cares about even being in the ring, he was going to be live on the PPV, working as a pundit hyping the fight for hours beforehand to the buying public.
Where is the evidence he is terrified of Whyte? Please don't take from your behind and talk from the evidence presented. We know Hearn is using Whyte as a shield. We know Whyte will serve as nothing but fodder. A man who goes life and death with chisora, is not someone to be feared if you have the type of power Wilder possesses. Shall we ignore the fact that Wilder and his team have said they are happy to fight whyte so long as it guarantee a fight with Joshua? Let's us ask, what is the point of Wilder training to put away another journeyman if it's going to lead to nothing? The fight does nothing for his credibility, because Joshua has already beaten Whyte, and so did Chisora, so what is the actual point of the fight other than Whyte serving as a gloried security guard or club bouncer blocking entry to Joshua? Answer those questions for me, why don't you!
Wait, but isn't Whyte Wilder's mandatory? and you make the point of Whyte being a bum, so then by your logic thats $4 mill for an easy fight, only a mad man (or poorly advised one) would decline. No, Whyte won a close decision vs Chisora and yes he lost to AJ but caused him problems. Fact is Whyte deserves his shot at Wilder more than Wilder deserves his shot at AJ. Sit down.
Is there an example of such a guarantee, promotionally, in the history of boxing? I certainly can't remember one. Wilder has already, I believe, been offered a career-high payday to fight Whyte. If he's such a journeyman bum, why not take the money?
It finally comes out: While Hearn could also get the American to face Dillian Whyte first to help build a future Las Vegas showdown between Joshua and Wilder. He said: “I think that’s a real possibility. If I was Deontay Wilder, how could I not think that signing with us was a good idea? “I could pay him probably double his highest ever purse to face Whyte and then I could set up the Joshua fight very easily. Why wouldn’t you do that?” Joshua could pocket around £35m for a clash with Wilder in Las Vegas in a fight Hearn reckons would eclipse Lennox Lewis’ mammoth meeting with Mike Tyson in 2002. Hearn says they are not a “million miles” away from doing a deal for the Joshua fight next anyways but he is furious with Wilder for not travelling to Cardiff this weekend. Wilder has decided not to come after the British Boxing Board of Control blocked him from getting in the ring after Joshua’s clash with WBO champion Parker. The BBBofC do not want Saturday night’s fight in Cardiff to be overshadowed by ugly scenes in the aftermath, especially after the recent death of Scott Westgarth in the ring. Hearn still wanted Wilder ringside to work for Sky Sports to help build their potential fight further. But the American said: “Eddie Hearn is scared. I see it in his mannerisms whenever I’m bought up. I’ve been calling him out for years, they don’t want it. “I love proving people wrong and I’ll do it time and time again. Us Americans chose our own path, I do what I want to do. “I’m too athletic, I’m too hostile, I punch too hard. No other Heavyweight has the agility I have. I move like a middleweight. “I’m very confident in what I do in the ring. There’s no man that I have stood in front of that I haven’t knocked out. “I am the one that ends all of their plans. I’m too dangerous for them. He needs to step up and make this fight happen.”
Let me get this right. This thread is crying about Wilder not getting in the ring??? I know Blizzy can't see that well with Wilders nut sweat stinging his eyes all the time but surely both Wilder and most of you are carrying on about nothing.. Really given we are witnessing hopefully another great hw title fight what Wilder is doing would be pretty irrelevant...
Before Whyte become mandatory, many of you were pushing for the Whyte Wilder fight because Eddie Hearn told you it needed to happen. Before Hearn signed him up to use him as a shield, no one was interested in Wilder fighting Whyte, because it was accepted that it would be a pointless fight that no one other than Dillian's homeboys in brixton would be interested in. But Matchroom propaganda is very good you see, it works a treat on weak minds. Btw I never called Whyte a bum, I said he would serve as fodder for Wilder. He'll get wiped out like he did against AJ. But you'll probably tell me next that AJ hits harder than Wilder even though he's never rendered an opponent completely unconscious.
Maybe because he wishes to unify for his legacy and the whyte fight would only serve as a distraction. Why does it all have to come down to money? Is that what you want in boxing, fighters only interested in fights based on money, rather than legacy and the best fighting the best? It's boxing fans like yourself who become expert armchair financial advisors who make me sick the most. Hypocrites, the lot of you. And it's not hard to stipulate in a contract that the winner fights another title holder. It doesn't need to pass through congress. That's how eliminators work.
He's about to fight Parker now too, which is by far the best man on either resume considering the age of Wlad. Ortiz 5 years ago would have been a credible win, but Wilder's resume is trash. Parker, Takam, Whyte and even old Wlad are superior scalps to anybody on Wilder's resume. I mean even Breazeale is a better scalp than Ortiz and Stiverne.
You didn't answer my question. What did Molina and very likely Big Baby Miller do to earn a fight with Joshua? Show me their formidable resumes and clout?
Whyte might be the second option. Lets see if Joshua wins and try to make Joshua Wilder first because if Joshua doesn't win, the bum...I mean Joshua will have lost everything! Pressure busts pipes! Thats when he starts to rot in the UK. Rot...
You're wasting your time. The man said that Marco Antonio Barrera wouldve beat Floyd at 130. Mind you this is after Junior Jones did what he did, lmao. Why even talk boxing with him? You're degenerating yourself. STOP!!!
If Wilder beats Whyte he will build a strong case to deserve a shot at AJ. He just hasn't really done anything. He's beaten nobody except an old Cuban. Come on guy. You have to beat somebody before you fight the man. That's just how it works.
Every time you bring this up I counter you with a question that you can never answer. Who did Floyd beat that was a good as a prime MAB?
