What heavyweight has the best chance at beating Mike Tyson?

    I agree that technique and commitment are necessary for a powerful punch. But if both guys have technique and commitment, I would expect Jameel McCline to punch harder than Jimmy Wilde.

    yes if you know of the Strength & Condition coach turning Jimmy Wildes to Jameel McClines this is impressive

    No, but I know the strength and conditioning coaches who turned Evander Holyfield into Evan Fields.

    Anyway, the point is that commitment and technique aren't the whole story. Size and other athletic abilities matter a great deal when it comes to power.

    Which is why nobody considers Jimmy Wilde to be a harder puncher than McCline, even though Wilde had all the technique and commitment you could ask for.
