Hint he was also a bodyguard to another fighter.

I'll give his name tomorrow, if you don't guess it.

Sonny Liston and Joe Fraizer had 18inchers, George Fs looked a bit stumpy perhaps Buster Mathis Snr?
Abe Simons is an option, Tony G was very stout and Carnera was as thick as a bull. a boxer from the John L era was named fatty and he looked more mastiff than man.

There is no way Lewis had a neck the size of Tyson's. The guy was a LHW.

Abe Simon or Primo would be good guesses. Galento? I don’t remember them being body guards though. Curious what the answer is

A little known fact by Boxing Historians, it was big neck Toxie Hall whom, was also Rocky Marciano's bodyguard. I knew Toxie and he was plenty tough. He won a decision over Ezzard Charles who I also knew. When Ezzard had his Fundraiser Benefit in Chicago at the Sherman House 1968. It was Davey Day and Dennis O'keefe who brought him in his wheel chair to the Benefit. Ezzard Charles was one of Greatest fighters ever.

The photos truth be told don’t do him justice for your claim, but I will believe you for you haven’t ever given me a reason not to.
