    This is a disgrace tune up fight as far as i'm concern. I mean come on Ornelas? Atleast Roy is facing a veteran fighter in Green in Green home country while Hopkins is facing a huge bum fighter in Hopkins hometown? lol. And this is proved why Hopkins is not a draw i mean this fight is on versus channel? lol i guess hbo won't take risk of a very low ratings in that fight.

    and about this fight.... seriously, what is the big deal?

    The guy has fought Pavlik, JC, Tarver and Winky in his last fights, and is looking at Dawson/Johnson, Adamek or other such adversaries after rjj.

    God forbid the mid 40's legend takes an easy touch on the way....

    Yeah seriously. His resume since 40 is better than most boxer's whole career resume. He hasn't fought in a year. No reason why he can't take a tune-up.

    Yea but come on Hopkins can atleast face a better tune up fight then Ornelas. Roy could easily step out of the Green fight but he didn't and Green ain't no bum like Ornelas and Jones facing Green in Green home country.

    Must suck, from Ornelas' perspective, to know that you're nothing more than a tune up. That is... unless he believes he has a serious chance of winning.

    Both are past it, Hopkins isn't exactly 20 years old either. Both are past prime yet Hopkins' style is what carries him, he never relied on reflexes like Jones did to be in a terrible position like Jones, he relies on skill and different tactics.

    RJJ is getting a tune-up, Hopkins getting one isn't a bad idea considering his last opponent was nothing but a heavy bag.

    have u ever boxed before??? YOU DONT JUSS GO INTO THE RING AT DISADVANTAGES IF U DONT HAVE TO...HE WOULD BE WISE TO STAY ON PAR WITH RJJ WHO HAS A FIGHT THE SAME NIGHT...RJJ IS A PRO FIGHTER REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT HE ISNT WHAT HE USED TO BE...

    WITHOUT A DOUBT IN MY MIND HE IS A TOP 8 LHW ..DONT BLAME FIGHTERS FOR TAKING TUNE UPS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN OFF FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR...

    How are tune ups waste of time all of a sudden?, Jones is getting one too. Calzaghe made a career fighting world class tune-ups in Wales, those weren't waste of time, were they?
