I can't really explain it well. It's Like picking prime Patterson to beat Liston.

One of mine is Marciano over Tyson.

    Another is Frazier over Foreman

what method are you using to make these picks ?

is it just your favorites that you would personally want to win?

I think a case could be made that Holyfield actually succeeded in his win over Bowe.

Greg Haugen is an example of somebody who did this a few times, if I interpret the gist of what you're trying to get at accurately.

No, it's who I'd actually favor prime for prime.

Freddie Pendleton is another. I think he is a very very live underdog & fought at a time when there weren't a lot of sofites and vulnerable champions. That kind of thing does make a difference.

He just won't string together title defenses or probably any title defenses. But as a big underdog for lots of marbles, he was anothe Haugen type guy.

The thing we are talking about is the non-flashy guy getting a win over the flashy types, right? In the recent times of flashy sells, Guys like Pendleton or Fourie is another, come to think of it, just are never going to have a big following in the sport.

The one that gives me most difficulty to make my mind up.

Small aggressive CW sized fighters vs SHW sized fighters.

Dempsey, Frazier, Rocky, Holy. All great fighers in their own right. But how do they do prime for prime vs Lewis, Vitali and Wladimir. Do these small men really have what it takes to beat giants who control range. I'm not talking about Bowe or others who would let then exchange inside, I'm talking about big men who will do what it takes to prevent any inside battles.
