this is a recycled ass thread, and i'll say what i have been saying. This **** is a barbaric competitive sport. All of you mu****as complaining about trash takling and acting a fool must have never been an athlete in a highly competitive sport. Where I am from, **** talking is the norm and you better expect it and not cry like a ***** when it happens. You guys who whine about it need to get your nuts and testosterone up and accept it.
You're spouting a lot of non-sense. It's true that it's not necessary shake hands or act friendly towards your opponent. It's also true that it's not necessary to insult nor disrespect your opponents. Boxing is a PROFESSIONAL job. Your hero does not know the difference between arrogance and confidence. He made strong statements about his fights "There's gonna be blood, I'm murder him, I'm gonna KO him. He's a C-class boxer, I'll beat his ass." And during the fight there is no KO and no action. Just a boring pot shooting and running around. That's not keeping his words. The rest of what you said is crap. No offense.
No. Jesus, you have the understanding and logic of a damn female. It is a different relationship Pac/Roach have then Floyd/Roger. Pac rarely ever speaks about his opponents, Roach does all the talking for the team. Haven't you friggin seen 24/7???? Roach has a MUCH bigger role in the media and probably even picking of opponents for Manny, then Roger does for Floyd.
Its not about just "**** talking". Who doesnt like that. Floyd makes himself just plain unlikeable. James Tony is a good **** talker, yet fans still like him. Mayorga was a tremendous **** talker, yet fans still loved him. The list goes on.. Floyd isnt a good **** talker though. It doesnt come natural to him. He tries too hard and comes off like an arrogant spoiled brat instead. Back to the original question. If he purposely tries to play the bad guy as u guys claim, why do u guys get mad when people actually hate on him? Isnt that what Floyd wants???
I say this mu****a is being professional, he gets up in his opponents heads better than anyone in this era can. He takes control inside and outside of the ring. I say this **** is very professional and insulting opponents in this sport is how its done.
The difference being that Mayweather is considered to be trash talking, where as Roach is giving his honest opinion of the fight and why he was happy to put his fighters in with that fighter.
Not only do you mu****as hate but you just flat out dislike. And floyd fans don't give a **** if you LIKE him or not, who cares. What we debate about and not "get mad" about is the fact that you hypocritical haters will bash floyd for some ****, but give other fighters props for the same **** that you bash him for. As someone has already said, there's a difference between hating on someone because you don't like them (which Mayweather encourages) and trying to discredit his ability.

Listen, it is what is is. U dont see a vast majority of boxing fans/historians/journalists/commentators accusing guys like Pac, Cotto, Mosley, etc... of ducking dodging and cherry picking thier way through thier career. Why, because there's no real history of those guys avoiding dangerous bouts. Floyd on the other hand has the reputation of doing that. Its not as if a small group of people are saying it. Its the majority of the boxing world. Yeah, u can say people also hated on Ali for his cockiness and **** talking, but Ali actually fought the guys he was expected to, and the boxing world respected him for that. He fought the best. The same cant be said about Floyd.
Nobody really discredits his ability. Even the Floyd haters admit he's one of the most gifted fighters to ever lace them up. Its his unwillingness to take on the best and actually put those skills to the test. Credit to him for fighting Mosley, but lets not act as if he was pretty much backed into a corner to do so.

May-Mosley has a much more intriguing buildup than Pac-Mosley could ever dream of. Pac-Mosley 24/7 would be a snoozer. Hype in this sport is never a bad thing no matter how the hype comes about.
What you are saying about pac could be debatable but this is not the thread for that. Also, that you are saying about floyd AVOIDING is very very debatable considering Cotto and pac were protected from floyd and were not allowed to fight him. And Mosley ducked him a few years ago. You see, your hate is also blinding YOU from looking at certain facts. That is a point and case right there. You only what your hate allows you to see.
