How is it that these two gentlemen can consistently get hit by people so slow, despite having near blinding speed.....

its mind boggling that maidana or (especially in manny's case) margarito landed enough meaningful punches on these guys, round by round, that could male these fights interesting, exciting and somewhat close..

They just take way too much punishment to be so fast..

It because they are both offensive fighters and not counter punchers like floyd etc.

Maybe they have something to prove, or in Manny's case, just want to entertain.

Oh, they are both on PEDS that help them perform awesomely but are also shitty technicians which make them not perform very well. Glad I could explain.

You cant be as dynamically offensive as Khan and Pacquiao are without getting hit.

When you throw alot , opponents have more opportunities . Counter punchers dont create the opening , they wait for it.

Thats why offensive fighters sometimes look chinny , where as the counter punchers look to hold shots better. When in reality a lot of it comes down to their positioning when punching.

Being fast doesn't mean you're going to be a defensive whiz. You might not have the right mindset and knowledge about exactly where to be or what punch will come. You might have the defensive reflexes or proper blocking/slipping techniques.

Because future Chemistry Nobel Prize winner Ariza gave them PEDs so that they can absorb the punches without too much effect on them. Ariza discovered that wonder drug after working day and night in his lab for 15 years.

Roach teaches to use the FEET as defense. Both Khan and Pac fight very similar. They fight in explosive spurts and use their speed to make the slower opponent shell up, then use their legs to almost run for 30 seconds, then they explode again......

Khan particularly has shitty head movement. Pac at least uses some head movement.
