What if AA drops out of the super six, and is replaced by Bute?

yeah would be good for the tournament. but i cant see it happening, I think abraham should take a chance against ward. he could beat ward if he was more cautious. and put more pressure on.

Ward is going to really do a number on AA.

If Froch can consitently make him miss and show faster hands, Ward is going to make his head explode.

    Terrible style matchup.

I would be happy for Bute. It would be funny tho ... cuz Bute will qualify automatically into semifinals in contradiction with Froch who worked his ass of to be there.

And I don't agree with pushing ppl out if AA would still want to continue same way Taylor was.

I see what you mean, but surely Ward vs. Bute would be a MUCH better match up.

I think Showtime wants Bute-Ward as a big final, after the tournament. A bit prematured for now. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bute-Dirrell in March, then Bute against one of the semi-final losers. Then, Ward.

If I were Ward's promoter, I'd refuse Bute in the semi-final. After all, Ward is ahead on points and that gives him the privilege to fight the worst of the 4 semi-finalists.

It wouldn't be fair that Bute gets a direct spot. If Abraham goes out, the only way Showtime can react is to give Ward a by to the final, and to see Froch-Johnson fight for the other spot.

if Ward decides to box, unlike his last fights ....he will school AA. Abraham has near to 0 chances to catch Ward...no countrpunching ability vs very good reflexes and alot more.

That would be awesome for the fans but it's unlikely to happen if AA drops out.
