What If, All Title Fights Consisted Of 10 Rounds??

We can have fun, cut off famous fights at ten rounds, and check the cards to reveal alternate outcomes. But if all title fights in history had been scheduled for ten rounds we’d have different ways of preparing, different strategies, and certainly different outcomes.

Some, like Tate-Weaver, seem easy to call. Others, especially involving elite fighters, not so much.

 

Ain't enough LSD in the world to fix a 90 minute Young/Ali round.

 

If I remember correctly, he was also behind on points against Ron Lyle too. So that's another loss.
I also feel he loses the last match against Norton.

You would have a great many draws, not from the fights listed. Just saying.

 

Maybe the fights would be at a faster pace. Who knows. If title fights were 4 rounds can you imagine the pace?

 

Regular Fights: 10, 2 minute rounds.
High Level Elimination Fights: 12, 2 minute rounds.
Lineal Championship Fights: 15, 2 minute rounds.
