Lets play and see how this one works out.....

Pick a heavyweight champion, whether he be your favorite fighter or not and lets pretend he didn't exist.

How would the title have changed hands? How much longer would his predecessor hold the title?
    Who would win the title?

Example... I'll go with an easy one and pick Tyson Fury.

If he never existed, Wlad would most likely still be Heavyweight Champ or possibly have lost to Joshua.

My favourite: Mike Tyson... If he never existed, I think maybe Tony Tucker could have been undisputed heavyweight champion. Then Evander Holyfield might have beat him, but Tucker was a good fighter so you couldn't write him off. I don't think he would have had a long reign, but he would have a decent reign. He went the distance with a Prime Tyson, then 6 years later (past his prime) went the distance with a Prime Lewis.

    Muhammad Ali

One possibility is that Ernie Terrell would have outpointed an ageing Sonny Liston.

Joe Frazier becomes champ a little while after then loses to George Foreman. After a few years George loses to Larry Holmes. After that history gets more or less back on track.

Without Marciano Archie Moore could have been HW champ. He might have went down as the guy who beat the undisputed MW, two LH champs and the undisputed HW champ all within 18 months.

Patterson would have fought Johnson at LH and then challenged Johansson rather than defend against him.

Without the losses to Riddick Bowe --and the wear and tear suffered at his hands-- Holyfield enjoys a long, uninterrupted run atop the heavyweight division, challenging Joe Louis' record for title defenses. Maybe even faces and beats a pre-prime Lennox Lewis.

    1. If Klitschko had never become champ i may never have started snoring in the middle of a title fight ? Either that or it could be that soothing blue lighting that they use in 'his' arena

I shudder to think how the heavyweight division would have looked had Wladmir not existed.

Jack johnson. Who knows how division would have panned out between Tommy burns and jess willard. That's even if willard won the title at all. And then who would dempsey have beat for it. All if Jack johnson did not exist
