What, If Anything, Can Floyd Do To Surpass Pac In The ATG Rankings?

    Floyd's resume is mad thin by the end:
    • Ricky Hatton (Ricky fought 2 guys in the ring -- Floyd and Cortez)
    • Victor Ortiz (quitter and lacks heart and balls)
    • Shane Mosley (decent win, but almost got decapitated)
    • Robert Guerrero (lol)
    • Andre Berto (lol)
    • Canelo Alvarez (green, drained, coming off of what should have been a loss or draw against No Doubt Trout)
    • Miguel Cotto (taken into deep waters by a shot Cotto)
    • Marcos Maidana (went 1-1 w/ b-level Son of Devon Alexander)
    • Manny Pacquiao (ducked for 5 years and then came in roided to the gills against an ancient, small, semi-shot, injured Pac)
    Also, the T/E ratios of a centenarian and later on illegal IV use suggests Floyd has been on PEDs for the last 7-10 years.

    What can Floyd do to surpass Pac in the ATG rankings?

    Personally, I don't think that Floyd can... HOWEVER, if he beat Crawford/Spence/Pac (uninjured and w/ VADA testing) and also Golovkin, he can make a case for being tied w/ Pac.

    Hatton also beat Tzsyu and Castillo...

    Floyd also beat Canelo/Corrales/De La Hoya/Juan Manuel Marquez/Gatti

    Canelo was obiovusly nowhere near his prime when Mayweather fought him, but still.

    I agree that he should have fought Pac earlier etc. but his resume is far better than your original list suggests.

    It would help if he rematched a healthy Pacquiao and beat him clean. Then, I guess he needs a few quality wins against the next generation of welterweight stars like Thurman and Brook. Or I guess he could beat some top junior middleweights like Lara and Andrade or even rematch Canelo now that he's hit his prime. That would probably do it. If you want him to even things up with just one fight, he'd have to beat Golovkin.

    maybe if floyd whupped pac and clowned him real bad by wining 10 rounds out of 12. that would be the only way.
