What if Aron Pryor fought Leonard, Duran and Manccini

    In boxing there are a lot of what ifs. Aaron Pryon (aka the hawk) lost out on 3 of the biggest fights of his career. He was offered a fight with Duran but took to long to get negotiations worked out with his team. He was scheduled to fight Sugar Ray Leonard, only to have Leonard suffer a detached Retna in the fight prior to fighting Pryor and retired a few months later. He was also scheduled to fight Boom Boom Mancini, only to see Mancini get knocked out by Bramble, and have that fight fall through as well. Aaron Pryor went on to a great career reguardless, and he was one of my favorite all time fighters, but my question is if Aaron wins all 3 of those matches, where does that put him among the ATG'?

    I think the Hawk might have lost a decision to Duran

    He's not big enough to beat Leonard, and his style would have played into Ray's hands

    He knocks out Mancini

    he beats Mancinni and loses to Leonard and him and Duran would be a classic

    Pryor was my fav to watch,because he would swarm you with his arsenal and his intensity was insane,leornard knew the hawk was chasing him,that's why he moved up.Pryor would have killed boom boom and duran vs pryor would have been a great fight,but i still think pryor would have won

    We agree on Mancini and probably Leonard, but I think he beats Duran, the one thing I don't think Pryor got enough credit for is, he had a pretty good beard, and call me crazy but I think he out-toughs Duran. Would have been one hell of a scrap.

    Aaron would beat Ray Mancini in the mid-rounds, but he would lose to Ray Leonard in the first four or five rounds, Ray is another level. However, him and Roberto is about a tossup, but I could see Duran edging him over 15.

    Duran and Pryor is just ouch on so many level. Duran UD
    Mancini would get stopped by the 8th
    Leonard would have outboxed Pryor

    You think he beats Duran? Interesting. Indeed, Pryor had a granite chin and was immensely tough. However, I struggle to see any fighter around 135-140 standing in there, and out-slugging Duran. No doubt it would be a brutal war. Do you think he wins a decision over Duran? Or stops him?

    I think he dominates Mancini and most likely stops him. I think Leonard is a little too much for him though and decisions him in an entertaining, competitive bout.

    Duran-Pryor would've been a dream come true. Hard to think of many fantasy fights better than this. I say it's 15 rounds of warfare. Pryor does nice work with his jab from the outside while Duran gets the better of it in close. Both very smart fighters who could box just as well as they could brawl. Hard to pick a winner but I'm leaning slightly towards Duran.

    UD over Mancini in a damn war, maybe stops him late.

    Loses to Leonard and Duran by UD, though Leonard beats him much wider.

    I think both Duran and Leonard beat Pryor, either by late stoppage or decision. But I think Pryor would prob stop Mancini late in an all out war.

    Although Pryor was a great fighter in his own right I think outside of his victories over an old Cervantes and a natural (although great fighter) 130-135lb fighter in Arguello his resume was pretty average.

    Mancini? don't think that would have done anything for his legacy

    He'd have a chance at outhustling Duran, Leonard would beat him 10/10 despite amateurs
