Relentless coming forward type of fighter? Imagine if he could bob and weave, and was taught into an aggressive style.. I think that Abrahams trainers have raised him the wrong way, they should have made him more aggressive somehow, because he has monster power and good speed(when attacking from the right distance) and a very nice block.. If he just was taught how to move his head, get inside and drop bombs... Imagine that.. I know it is hard techniques, but just take a look at his fight against Miranda, why doesnt he use that offensive style some more? He would be feared and far more popular among boxing fans
I would say he is relentless in coming forward.. ?!? Not always effective, but I don't remember him really taking much of a back step in many of his fights. Certainly needs to bob and weave. There isin't much movement in the upper half of his body, although he tends to cover up pretty well. Anytime he faces an opponent with decent footwork and hand speed he's going to come unstuck.
You mean like when Sturm fought ODH in the States and was robbed? I can understand why he is not traveling that much...
AA is too flat footed and predictable IMO. He'd need to be faster as well more aggressive to get to where people want him to be.
that would be nice man but not what These European coaches teach them... I hate to say but they teach them to box like Robots like Americans tend to call them.:yep
He doesn't have those skills and his career would have ended a lot sooner than it did. It is effectively over now that he can't nurse a title at 160 with home defenses. He wasn't effective at the end at 160 because of weight problems and he has admitted he can't be effective at 168. fork...
What if Arthur Abraham was a... Relentless ... I think Relentless may have something to say about that
If he was relentless he'd not be as explosive as he is and thus lose some of his KO power. Still a very good boxer though.
LOL The American fans turn on their own fighters after a loss. Serious Berto, Williams, etc all get over hyped as soon as they put in a sub par fight. I'm from Britain and although I'm in "Europe" our fighters certainly aren't robotic.
Actually, if AA can even drain to 160 I think it is an easy fight for Sturm. Sturm will be happy to do 'just nuf' to win a round and not take chances. He has the title and AA will HAVE to come to him. The shoe will be on the other foot.
