Im a fan of both, but I would have to go for Kessler, I think Kessler really pushed Calzaghe, and if he can keep his work rate up, I think he would win.

kessler is a fantastic boxer but made for hopkins.
i hate to say it but i see hopkins winning ud.
kessler should avoid fighting b hop and clean out smw,and when done there move up to lhw and clean that out too as calzaghe and hopkins should be gone by then and kessler would be a better fighter then too.

Kessler is a beast. Kessler by horrific stoppage

Hopkins wide UD. He is on another skill level entirely the one-dimensional and robotic Kessler. Kessler is what he is, a very good very strong alphabet champion, but he is not anywhere near the calibre of Hopkins, even this 43-year-old version of B-Hop who has obvious stamina issues.

Those stamina issues were not too obvious when he was looking fresh as **** in the twelth against Pavlik. I suspect you are saying this cos Calzaghe wore him out in their fight.

Hopkins by UD. Pointless fight for him, it wouldn't prove or add nothing to his legacy. Only the Calzaghe fans are calling for this fight out of some missguided belief he has to prove himself to Calzaghe for a rematch. It would be a good match I can't deny it, but I would rather see Hops take on a more significant matchup.

Maybe Dawson or Tarver rematch (even though Tarver would be pointless for him, but I still want to see it.)

How about Kessler stops picking on (and losing to) retirement aged fighters, and fights a young P4P champion in Chad Dawson?

    That would be nice.

I would rather see Hops move up to heavy weight for one final fight.

Hmmm are you sure? Do you forget how JC creased him over for 2 mins with an imaginery low blow? What would a real punch do from a slick boxer like Kessler do? :nut

Nah, I think Kessler would more likely win a decision...but definately win. He's a far more rounded fighter than the one dimensional Pavlik is. And he's younger n fresher also. Kessler UD 12. But Popkins just spouts off saying "kessler is not in my league!"
