What if Calzaghe gets knocked out?

    Calzaghe is up against probably the toughest fight of his career against Kessler, will he be able to use his superior boxing ability to beat Kessler or will Kessler over power the smaller man and possibly KO him.

    Calzaghes resume seems to be the only thing that seperates him from the middlewieght greats, if he does beat Kessler will he finally gain the respect of american fight fans, time will only tell.

    If Calzaghe wins is he a ATG? If he does get knocked out by Kessler does that put him at Jermaine Taylor type status as a overhyped boxer?

    yes, if he wins .....no wait, that would mean kessler is just a paper champ or overrated bum.

    if he loses, he´ll be regarded as an overhyped ***** .....so i guess his stature will slightly improve:p

    I just wonder if Calzaghe does win this fight, if he will gain enough popularity in the states to having his fights shown on PPV?

    Kessler looked like he had very broad shoulders compared to Calzaghe and seems to punch harder from what I seen.

    If JC wins: Kessler will be over-rated in the short term. It may seem like a better win in the long term depending on what Kessler goes on to achieve.

    Joe's looking in fantastic shape 3 weeks away from this fight! He looks lean man!

    Lacy also had broader shoulders and had far more muscle mass than both of them put together. It means **** until they get in the ring.

    I'll give JC his due if he beats Kessler and beats another recognized champ after. If he beats Kessler and then goes on to the likes of Manfredo/Bika/etc. for another few years, I'll be very disappointed.

    It will only make him concentrate that little bit harder and win an even more unanimous decision than unanimous.

    If young Kessler (in his prime!) lost to such a person - it would be really embarrasing!

    No matter what happens in the fight, I think one thing is almost guaranteed and that is a Calzaghe victory.

    Kessler is another Lacy and this will be proved when Joe continues his 10 year reign with yet another victory.

    I hope after this fight he will then go to America and beat some of their guys and therefore get the respect he is due.
