What if Canelo blows off the 2lbs

Floyd himself said that "catch weights are meaningless" that he wants his opponents to be at their best! Why are you worried about us. You should be looking at what Floyd said and what he's trying to do now. This should be a superfight with no BS like this catchweight within a weight division BS.

 

like i said, floyd isnt taking this fight because he wants it, i think he is being forced by his showtime contract to do it. from the moment canelo asked for a written contract to appear on the undercard, floyd started the pr campaign to avoid fighting him. he sees, just like i can see, how difficult a task its going to be to beat an offensive force with the defensive ability that canelo showed against trout. there would be no need to contradict yourself and ask for a catchweight when youve never needed one before, just like there was no need to ask for extra testing from pac when you never needed it before. floyd knows better than we do who has a legit chance of beating him and he has acted accordingly when faced with these fighters.
he is obviously not as confident of his win as the armchair analysts who claim he will easily outclass canelo or there wouldnt be such a need for floyd to act so out of character.
