The WBA cant strip Canelo for coming in at 154 lbs. Thats the limit for that division, they dont care if Canelo were to come in over the contracted limits as long as he does'nt come in over the juniormiddleweight limit.

As far as rehydration clauses are concerned, I dont see where one could be stipulated legally.

The reason that weighin's are held a day before a fight is for the very reason to allow fighters to hydrate sufficiently.
As far as I know, putting a limit to how much a fighter can hydrate is straight out illegal and could cost the sanctioning bodies and promoters their neck in a lawsuit if something should go terribly wrong in the ring with that fighter.
