Canelo has been in with some top guys like Lara and come out of top. he's the bigger guy with faster hands and a reach advantage against an aging Cotto who has been in some wars and isn't really and middleweight. I really see this as Alvarez's fight to loose as long as he boxes I don't really see Cotto being able to turn it into enough of tear for him to land hard shots consistently. If Canelo looses he can easily rebound against another top tier fighter - hell they both can but it will probably show that Miguel is coming to the end of the road.

    Same here.

Great if Cotto has really improved under Roach.

That likely means a more competitive fight.

That does not, at least to me, mean he wins.

If canelo loses, he is young enough to still bounce back stronger. I would imagine he would find a new trainer. Heck, Cotto has had some pretty horrible beatings and look at him now

Canelo was looking very gaunt in a video I just saw of him recently. I had Cotto winning this fight, and that video I saw didn't change my opinion at all. I foresee Cotto's skill winning him this fight.

Whether you like Freddie Roach or not, he's a way better coach than Chepo Reynoso and his son. That coaching will also make a difference.

Also, I think Canelo's career will be fine if he loses this one. People will still like him, regardless. He's already a star.

Are you saying that a boxer who has already been outboxed from pillar to post might possibly lose again? Impossibru!

Cotto wins a SD, surviving Canelo's late surge.
