I couldn't help but smile if this fight was made it would make my day. There would be so much hate for Canelo from Team GGG and the fan's it would be gold. BJS vs CEJ II for all the belts + lineal title would be epic
No reason why it can't be but, if he is planning on facing GGG and only fighting 2 times a year he better start with some lower tier 160's first. The practice time is now!!! He should fight some guys that can't KO him and he can get a weird decision against like Monroe Jr., or anyone not like Stevens or Lemieux
Yea right. BJs would cleanly out point canelo aND then what? A robbery that I'll bring back flashbacks of Lara fight? Another belt he has no intention of unifying with Genady? Canelo needs to go down to 154. He is not fighting GGG, not now, not in fall of 2017 not till GGG shows clear signs of succumbing to old age.
Yep, this is why it's a bad scenario. Even if Saunders beats him he won't get the win anyway, and the WBO belt will be held hostage from that point on.
That's a good fight for him. BJS has some pretty good skills and possesses that southpaw style that seems to trouble Canelo. Canelo being a great counter puncher mixed in with BJS willingness to engage will most likely get him stopped late. Good fight though.
It would only happen in the US and Canelo would only have to stand upright for a decision. BJS beats Canelo comfortably in my opinion.
