What if Cleveland Big Cat Williams had not been shot on Nov 30 1964?

I can’t imagine who Williams is going to beat convincingly at world level even if he gets past Terrell. The WBA challengers beyond that were guys that Williams did fight but didn’t beat in real life.

He would still have been good but not good enough...but he might not get mentioned so much which would be a good thing for today

I think that Cleveland Big Vat Williams would have given Floyd Patterson a title shot, Ali would have fought Eddie Machen instead of Patterson on Nov 22 1965. Of course they never fought.
