If by "get in that ass" you mean, beats him, then Margo finally gets a signature win...and a huge one at that. It also means Floyd Jr. stays in retirement, imo.
Do you think DLH would fight him?? People bash DLH on here, but I think he would fight Margo albeit at 154.
That's a very good question. I personally would like to see that fight as I think Margo's bank account deserves it. I'm not sure DLH would want that fight because I'm not sure Margo's name means as much as Hatton, Cotto, Floyd. But like I said, what do I know. If I were a betting man, I would say A Margo DLH fight would never take place.
He is Oscar's former sparring partner. Margo said he gave DLH problems. DLH said he knows all of Margo's weaknesses. I wonder who's telling the truth?? :think
See, yeah, you know more about the situation then I do. I was just speculating on name power and such. If they have a history/feud, then maybe that can be sold. Especially if Margarito does away with Cotto in an emphatic way.
Margo vs. DLH would certainly stir a **** storm on these boards, I can tell you that. The old story goes that DLH had Margo kicked out of camp for "being too rough". That is a typical story.
all good points from everyone. the thing is...whoever wins, if the winner fights oscar....the inevitable result will be to get floyd outta retirement for the big $$$ (which i will pay for...b/c i love the sport) i know im not some mad scientist, a lot of people on here see this but still....
If he beats Cotto then it's a great win. I don't think he will win but he will have enough to give Cotto a run for his money that's for damn sure. I'd like to see him in there with De La Hoya - he deserves it.
Margo can "get in that ass" and could do away with Cotto early if he lands consistantly. It didn't fair well for Cotto when he was visibly hurt after every punch Zab threw. Margarito is bigger and stronger than Zab.
