BUT, Zab really has that snap in his punches because of his speed. His punches surprise you and can catch you coming in, where Margarito's punches are slower and less snappy, but due to the accumulation and pressure he hurts you. I think Cotto is more troubled by Zab's style than he will be by Margo's.

If he loses he loses, margarito becomes the number 1 welterweight.

margos is going out like a warrior on his shield but his slow plodding ass is going to take 4-5 punches to give one and he is just going to flat out miss all of his other slow wide punches. Cotto is going to keep that jab in his face and bust him all up.

If he lands consistently? Basically you're saying that Margarito could win if he suddenly metamorphises into a much better fighter overnight than he's demonstrated previously in his career. I agree....

Prepare for a rematch or Margarito getting his shot against Oscar and getting the huge pay-day he was always waiting for.

Whats Cotto gonna do when he lands his best shot on Tony Margarito and Tony just grins at him and belts him back??
Margarito is capable of beating CottoI think it'll be a great fight and the winner will earn my own personal title Undisputed world welterweight champ

to I don't know but the winner of this fight has got to see Paul Williams in the ring !

Cotto whoops Williams and I pick Margo to start early and kick his a$$ (williams) in the rematch !

Unlike what most people to believe ... Floyd will see a fight w/ Margarito easy ... and would jump at the opportunity to fight Margarito, shall he get past Cotto and get another signature win.

And unlike most fighters, Margarito would not be hesitant to say what he thinks about Mayweather and do whatever it takes to lure Mayweather in.

But if he beats Cotto, he would need another signature win to secure a mega bout ... Maybe he could land a bout with Margarito ... i'm sure the relationship with GBP and TopRank are good enough to make the fight happen.

or Maybe a rematch w/ Paul Williams ... a victory over Cotto would mean 3 welterweight world titles ... (IBF, WBO, and WBA) and it will mean that he beat 2 legit world champions.

I don't think Cotto is the type of fighter to try to get his opponent out of there with one punch then gets discouraged when his punch doesn't have an effect ... Cotto won't stop after one punch - especially if he sees an opening.

    Cotto is no Kermit Cintron

I don't know why his alias is left hook when his money punch was the right hand over the top.

    Pointless topic. Cotto > Margo.

If he does beat him, he will get a lot of credit for it from me that's for sure, for now I refuse to believe he's the 2nd best welterweight in the world just because he beat Cintron.
