Even Uncletermite knows it, "Cus moved Tyson along faster to win the title at 20 years old..."

Like I said, get a clue.

Tyson was facing Sam Scaff and Mark Young in the weeks after Cus's death.
Cus had no input in matching Tyson through 1986 so I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

Cus may well have got Tyson a shot at the title at 20 years old, that doesn't mean he'd take the exact same strategy.

Even in the real world, where Cus was dead, there was talk of Berbick (who wasn't even a champ in Cus's life) and Tyson fighting outside of the HBO tournament (which wasn't fully announced in Cus's life), there was talk of potential offers to Spinks, there was real efforts to make fights with C00ney and Holmes. A completely different route.

It's interesting that I'm arguing with people who seem to be saying Cus D'Amato would have made ZERO input/impact on who Tyson would have fought if he had lived.
As if Cus was some sort of non-factor. Cus was the master mind. He would have had major input.

You two need to get a clue.

Based on your posts I would say you are either in your 30's or very old because you are out of touch like the majority of the nostalgics on here...you're the type who claimed Frazier was better than Tyson because he TOOK punishment?

As far as me ,my posts speak for themselves,accurate/informative and based on facts and realism!Im highly much more knowledgable on Tyson believe me...:yep

    Great post

The guys Tyson had in in his corner in Tokyo against Douglas didn't even have endswell in the corner. Enough said.

That's not what you posted first. Let me refresh your memory...

So yeah, you posted that Cus would've steered Tyson towards an easier path. And because Tyson posted it in his bio, yet in other threads on this forum regarding Tyson's drug use in his bio you stated he wasn't telling the truth. So which is it? You can't pick and choose "truths" from Tyson's bio that best fits your agenda homie.

Your transparency regarding Tyson is really annoying. I admit I'm a fan but I rate him where he belongs. My bad that I keep exposing you at every turn. You're not too far off from the Tyson smear campaigners who take a swipe at Tyson every chance they get because you pull the same s h i t.

Ta ta for now, matey. :hi:

Tyson would've lasted a few fights longer, but, at some point, he was going to head down, his lifestyle was getting a bit out of hand before he won the title, and it was going to catch up to him, Don King, or no Don King.
