    A catchweight vs. Floyd? Why wouold they ask for a catchweight then make stipulations for Floyd not to weigh more then 147?:patsch

    If this was taken before Pac vs. DLH, don't you think Pac, moving up at the time, is different then NOW having been at WW for a longer time? :patsch It's not rocket science.

    Yeah it's a lot different then it is now, but they aren't asking for it now. I'm saying when they first wanted to negotiate. Then his reasoning for wanted a catchweight is bogus as well

    :lol: Pac asked for a catch weight at his first real WW fight against Cotto. He hasn't asked anyone to come in lighter than the WW limit and these morons act like he does it to everybody. Bunch of ******s.

    I would say great, it could even the fight out a bit with Mayweather being a little weak and Ortiz might actually have a chance. Ortiz wanted a catchweight for the Berto fight, I'm assuming he'd comfortably make 144.

    That was a one time thing. Kinda hard to lose weight when coming back from a 21 month layoff to fight the #3 p4p(marquez). I personally didn't like the catchweight but it is what it is.
