The fact that Floyd takes such good care of himself while he's away from training camp, coupled with the fact that he doesn't rely on his speed, power, and other attributes generally associated with youth, would make any decline very small.

He relies more heavily on ring smarts, so his ability to self-assess, adjust, and diversify his plan of attack will never make any decline apparent.

I see a Mayweather victory, but Alvarez is pretty damn slick and I definitely won't be shocked if he gives Money serious problems. I had the Trout/Alvarez fight a draw though. I scored every round with a pen and paper. If I remember correctly, I think I had two rounds even.

If canelo is victorious then this is the excuse that will be used to degrade the victory, when there is no possible way he'll just 'get old overnight' in just a little over 4 months from his last performance, where it was business as usual.

Now, he's not going to look as good, because anyone would look perfect vs. Robert Guerrero if they are of the elite caliber, so watch boxing fans say that he's past it in the event of any competitive fight because boxing fans are typically clueless.

They were saying 'Floyd got his legs back' in regards to the disparity of performances with Guerrero and Cotto. When the difference there is a top fighter fighting another top fighter and a top fighter fighting a 2nd tier fighter.

So expect people that have never boxed a round in their lives to try to interpret what unfolds in another fight of a top fighter vs. a top fighter and watch them discredit whatever the outcome will be, as per usual, every single time....

Yep, styles make fights and I do think Alvarez gives him some serious problems, just not enough to beat him. Money by SD.

Floyd will only need to be on his bike for the first three rounds, Canelo will be gassed out by then. Rounds 4-12 Mayweather can pot shot his way to victory.

  9. He's ****ed that's what.

What if Canelo actually has improved stamina from being in Big Bear?

^ If anything, you'll see some improved stamina from Canelo, the best he's had to date. If not, then that would be on him for not taking every step to gain victory in this big of an opportunity.

It's no easy fight for Floyd, those saying it is and won't be challenge(like Guerrero, as if Canelo isn't a league above that guy), are not very bright. I am picking Floyd by a close UD that will likely have controversy, but go to the right guy in a tight score.

Which half of this forum and half of the boxing fans on the internet will sit there and claim that Floyd's old/past it for winning a difficult fight over a game opponent. We'll laugh at them I suppose.

    that still won't be enough.

An old Floyd is still good enough to be that trash.

Oscar used to train at big bear all the time and he STILL gassed-out:yep

Canelito gasses because he doesn't protect his body well.
Trout was killing him on the inside..that's why he got tired..:deal
