Mayweather is losing weight in preparation for a fight with Pac. Also we don't know what the official catchweight is for Marquez-Mayweather.

It could be at 140. I'd certainly give him more credit if it was.

the article was posted in septmember they fought in december. hence, by december, his claim was still valid and applicable per your reasoning.

and I have been arguing this size and weight thing with you floydettes for how many months already. hmm, let me see, I remember having an argument last may.

so from december to may, which is about 5 months, the claim of pac that he walks around 144-147 is not applicable. :bbb

but pbf trains everyday right hence he walks around 147. :rofl

    can you spell stupid?

clearly you do not understand the meaning of sarcasm.

the only time i said that was either sarcasm or typo error which i promptly changed.

unless you have a medical condition or you gorge on food, are you 10-15 pounds heavier than what you were 5-6 months ago. go figure.

I don't know why he's gone down. He was weighing 149 vs Baldomir. Unless he wants to get lighter back like at 140. (where he was 145)

DLH had said 143 before. I dont see why they are making it a surprise now after they stated the weight.

Clearly the weights become suitable for both, we haven't heard Marquez or Nacho complain since.

I would like the fight at 140 as well. And for Floyd to fight Pac at 140.

What? Pac fought DLH ONLY at 147 because that he was already GOING UP TWO DIVISIONS to do so. There was no way DLH could get down to 140. And no way Pac could go all the way up to DLH.

I just dont get it why he insist pac weighs more than pbf..If thats the case, then shouldn't have pac just weighed 145-147 when he fought DLH rather than 142lbs at weigh-in....he just dont see this...

The claim in the article was not applicable. it was talking about his walk around weight while he was at 135. Clearly it has gone up since then.
That claim was made in september not after december.

Lies. But go ahead, thats normal of you.

 10lbs isn't that much. Specially for smaller fighters (10lbs of fat)

There's a difference between walk around weight and fight night weight.

Just cause a fighter adds weight between fight isn't bad. Unless you are doing it like Hatton.

But when you adding 5-10-15lbs. (15 is pushing it) thats fine. You seem to think its not.

Pac weighed in at 142 because he cut too much weight.

Ever think that Pac is so use to cutting 15lbs to make weight that he maybe slightly over did it when he only needed to go 2lbs?

But Floyd is having a catchweight against Marquez who is two weight divisions below him.

Pac got MUCH more hate and negative attitude for the Cotto fight and that was when it WASN'T EVEN SIGNED YET.

    ey eze,

can you say one of my favorite lines again for me will you.

if pac did not weigh in at 138 vs. hatton, he could have done better in the fight.

Pac never received hate. It was his fans who did.

The ones who claimed, nothing will be different from 145 than 147.

So why are the fighting at 145?

"Because Cotto won't gain as much weight come fight night" Cotto who was 146. If he loses extra pound of water weight, is magically going to not go back up to his normal fight night weight?

That's what he/ his fans were criticized for.

If Cotto is healthy and fine at 145, its fine. (although I dislike catchweights - even for Floyd-Marquez)

Well. The first time I mentioned this statement. I remember I said

Pac cut too much weight, if anything it hurt his performance.

The 2nd time I said something about it was in this thread.

Where I said Pac could of finished Hatton off in the first had he not cut the extra weight. With smileys, where you clearly did not notice the sarcasm.

    Way to go. :hi:

So why did Pac weigh in at 142 and then rehydrate back up to 149?

    :patsch Moron.

pac was at his optimum weight against hatton.

Which is 140. That's why i have a problem with people asking pac to bloat up to 147.

Why would he have to bloat up?

Pac is a beast at 140. He weighed nearly the identical when he fought DLH.

He doesn't need to bloat/bulk at 147. His ability allows to weigh 148/149 come fight time and still compete with ease.
