Still say its the most unbelievable story in boxing. Not just taking so many years out but to come back a lot heavier...plodding through the lowest part of boxing to winning a version of the world title at 42 or whatever. Unbelievable. Before the days of sport science etc...its not lkke george was a fitness freak or that...he was pretty much the other way. He did have determination and done what most people dont do when making a comeback...put the ego to one side.

Remember him being laughed at and mocked on most of that comeback. Just made it all the sweeter for the man when he beat moorer. It also does point to the 70,s being the golden era. Foremann years past his best....without even training for years...getting way out of shape was still able to win a portion of a world title at 42. Unbelievable really.

Surely foremanns in that top 10 of all time heavyweights. Amazed that he wouldn,t be in everyones top ten tbh. 81 fights. 76 wins. Incredible record bearing in mind 3 of them losses came when he was 40. Demolished frazier twice. Demolished norton. Beat moorer who was fresh off a win over holyfield at 42. Wierd career foremanns but surely has to make everyones too 10 no?
