These types of what ifs are a waste of time IMO.

What if Foreman had one arm?

Yes it is, but backed up by Frazier's results against the only big heavy puncher he met. What have you to offer by way of reply?

Quarry, Bonnavena and Chuvalo were good punchers. Good KO records between them.

Foreman was a huge puncher obviously though, but he got Frazier at the right time.

None of those three are anywhere near the top heavyweight punchers and we both know it.
Name a rated fighter that Bonavena ko'd?

Name one that Chuvalo ko'd, apart from that abberation with Quarry?

Quarry couldn't even stop an old Floyd in two tries.
If this is the best you can come up with, I advise you to stop digging because you are in a deep hole.

Also a bit of a coincidence that he has by far one of the worst resumes as well?

    Points to consider:

Tyson favourite fight was Foreman/Frazier believe it or not.

Tyson before the fight with Frazier "When you jab, he bows, when he bows im going to catch him with an uppercut" the fight lasted all but 15 seconds.

Watch Foreman/Frazier 1, first round, straight after the bell. Frazier starts ducking/bobbing weaving, Foreman throws a massive uppercut which just misses.

First knockdown of Frazier. Foreman throws a jab, Frazier bobs/ducks, Foreman throws an uppercut. "Down goes Frazier, Down goes Frazier"

the threads of "what if" are exactly the same waste of time than every fantasy match because all are speculation, so go back to the bed grumpy :hi:

George was the better puncher for sure but saying Frazier practically could not get past powerful big punchers is not really fair is it?

George Chuvalo knocked out 64 of 73 guys he beat. Doug Jones, Manuel Ramos and Quarry were rated.

Bonavena was described by Nat Fleischer as the most powerful fighter he saw. He was regarded as a banger.

Quarry would not be regarded as feather fisted either. Knocking out Thad Spencer, Mac Foster, Ernie Shavers.

I believe only Quarry was rated at the time .I could verify it, but I'm drinking a pleasant Fluerie at the moment.

    Please produce Fleischer's quote.
Honest answer required , do you seriously believe any of them were top drawer bangers?

I think I read it on the boxrec bio of Oscar when I was checking if Charlie Goldman was still training Ringo at the time of charlies death. Perhaps it was a tribute at the time of Oscars death, if Nat himself was still around?

Yes I think Quarry, Chuvalo and Bonavena were the kind of punchers you had to be careful with.

    Boxing on the retreat?

I watched the film Waterloo the other day, there is a scene where Wellington[Christopher Plummer ,] catches a private with a piglet in his knapsack he demands of him," do you know the punishment for looting?" The private replies "stoppage of gin Sir".Wellington says "Damn you its death sir!" The private says," this little fella attached himself to me ,and I'm just trying to reunite him with his Mammy".
Wellington says ,"this fellow knows how to defend an indefensible position ,promote him to Sergeant!"

Thats what you have just done!:good
