He would have changed the course of Boxing history if he would have backed Tyson up after that uppercut...:yep Bruno could have ruled the World in that era with a tougher chin for sure...:yep He was around at the right time, 10 or 15 years earlier it would have been a different ball game...:yep When Holmes got up off the floor after been floored by Shavers, that was the difference back then...:yep :happy :happy :happy ....Bruno Bruno Bruno Bruno....:happy :happy :happy
****-all to do with his chin, muscle bound, nervous tension gave him stamina issue's or maybe he did'nt have the killer belief that he could be world champ except against Lewis as that has really been the only time i've actually seen him fired up & really wanting to flatten an opponant. Against a prime Tyson he'd always be in trouble:yep but the 2nd fight was an absolute ****in disgrace, he just did'nt want to be there & he could have won that fight if he'd shown a bit of "evander" & not clung on to Tyson in absolute terror, ****in shameful night that was & i was there ringside to witness it:-(
Does anyone else think that if he'd fought McCall the way he fought Lewis he'd have got the stoppage? A 13th round though and he was goneski :-(
Exactly. His chin wasn't all that bad, it's just that when he was stunned - which is understandable in the heavyweights and against the type of punchers he was facing - his focus went to **** and he had **** all in the way of survival skills, so kept shipping shot after shot.
all if but's and maybe's....the reason we all love Frank is because of how he was. If Frank had faith and belief in himself he could of been a great champion of his time but he didn't have it in him sadly, The night he beat McCall i think everyone was relived the gentle giant got what he deserved.
didnt know how to survive (watch bruno/lewis) and just wasnt 'nasty' enough tbh. Bruno is a great guy and has been great for British boxing but he was never gonna be a all time great.
