Well, then we'll see how good Junior's ground game is.

Truth be told, I'm still a bit pissed that JDS isn't fighting Overeem. That and the fact Junior should be able to bang out Mir in a couple of rounds means I'm not as excited for this as I usually am when a big heavyweight fight comes around. I just can't see Mir getting JDS on the ground - and with less technical ability, slower hands and a weak chin, he's a knockout of the night victim waiting to happen.

 

I'll close my eyes and pray for Junior.

Seriously though, Junior must have good jits from training with the Nogs. He clearly can defend grappling but once he is there I don't know.

Sadly, if Frank grabs something tap quick and fight another day cos he'll break it without thinking twice.

 

Mir's only chance is to get Dos Santos to the ground. If he tries to kickbox with him like Velazquez did he'll get stopped quick. cigano has fast hands. Fighters with fast hands have been Mir's kryptonite his entire career.

If Mir gets the TD, he will tap him easy. He is neeeever getting that TD.

How about anyone with a pair of hands. Pe De Pano wasn't exactly known for his heavy hands and he tooled Mir.

And? He doesn't get a pass from me. He was well enough to fight and if i recall that was only Pe De Pano's second fight. If he can take credit for KO'ing and breaking a shot Nogs arm he can do the same for his loss. Bottom line is Mir has a history of getting skull ****ed as soon as he's punched in the mouth.
