No way could Morrison have avoided the amount of shots Ali caught off his arms in Zaire, look how Norton couldn`t get away from a young George, fighting the same way Morrison did.

Larry wouldn`t have beat George fighting the way he did at the end of the Norton fight he couldn`t take the same amount of punches off Foreman, Larry`s defense vanished at the end of that one and it turned into a scruffy brawl.

A fight between prime George and Larry would not have gone past round 12. Foreman would have gassed long before then and Larry would have then landed a KO blow.

But Foreman didn't even have Norton's hand speed, did he? Not completely sure on that. George would have been too easy to counter in general, and he didn't like to have his jab foiled/bettered.

Prime Foreman was fast as per Ali. This was what he said a week after the fight when asked if anything surprised him in the ring with George.

Would of been champion for years in HW reign of terror. Forman was different after the Ali fight less confidant! I thnk he could of beaten Holmes in 78 in a war .Would be regarded as the greatest Heavyweight champion in history .Similar to as he is now.

Holmes was too fast and moved too well. George had exceptional hand speed for a big man with his power, but not like Tyson (for example). George would have kept coming and walking into the jab time and again. He would have ended up with a pumpkin-sized swelled up head and a decision loss (if not a TKO when and if he ran out of gas).

George never had the hand speed of even mid-70s Ali, I don't have a gauge beyond my own two eyes but I would think most people could see that.

If Shavers could catch Larry then Foreman could and countering George was tough because as soon as you punched he would be all over you hence the rope a dope.
