    A couple of questions:
How long would his reign have been after?
Would he be the greatest heavy of all time?
    Would someone beat him eventually?
Or would he continue smash people and break Marciano's record :!: ?

    AND: What about Muhammad Ali?

you'll get better insight from the classic about your questions and about the above post about big George's technique. a good thread on that as well.

Hard to say because Foreman at the time had unbelieveable physical ability in fact I feel he may have been the greatest specimen to ever compete in boxing. His strength and power were unmatched but what he lacked in his first career which very well may have been his downfall against someone other then Ali was composure. He couldn't relax in the ring and this would lead him to tire therefor I think its very possible another fighter may have ended up exposing this. He would later be defeated by Jimmy Young who was a very slick pesky boxer who drove Foreman nuts causing him to wear himself out with his wild attack this very well could've ended up happening in a championship fight between the two.

I hate stupid "what if" questions and after answering this one then ask:
-what would have happened if the A-Bomb had been a dud?.....
-what would have happened if Lee Harvey Oswald had sneezed at the prcise moment of pulling the trigger?,.....
-What if Weapons of Mass Destruction HAD been found and a Republican had been elected in 2008 riding the wave of Bush's popularity?...
-what would have happened if instead of drafting Sam Bowie the Portland Trailblazers had instead chosen Michael Jordan first and teamed him with Clye Drexler?

I still think Jimmy Young beats him. George just had issues with slicksters.

Well, for George to beat Ali he would need to have been a better fighter. A more skillful and generally better incarnation of himself. So if this better version of George beat Ali he would probably have been the GOAT hw

What if the world were flat, what if we lived in a World where folks weren't victims of violence, or religious or racial discrimination? The what ifs never end, lol..
Doesn't matter Foreman never would have beat Ali on his best day, styles make fights, and George had issues with guys who were slick boxers, hell even Tommy Morrison outboxed him.
Too bad George and Ali never rematched in the states, Ali would have knocked him out again..

If Foreman would have won instead of Ali, he would have maintained his pissy attitude and never would have became that likeable guy on tv and commercials. Therefore, he never would have became the spokesman for the George Foreman grill and I never would have lost weight.
