What if Hatton-Pac finishes early (2-3 rounds)?

I am very surprised how confident some non-Filipinos are of Manny's chances of winning this fight early (inside 3 rounds)

I think this fight may be tougher than some of you guys think.

I'm still rooting for a Pacquiao win, it doesnt matter to me if it's by TKO or by decision.

 

You are from the Phillipines? Whats the take on the fight over there?

Most people want Manny to win, of course. And the whole country's gonna watch this fight.

They've been showing training camp updates of both fighters everyday, in the evening news.

I dont think a lot of people here believe Pac will finish Hatton in 2 rounds.

Honestly, a good percentage of people here thought ODLH would defeat Manny, but people still rooted for Pac.

 

How do most Phillpino fans realistically see the fight panning out? Is Hatton seen as having a decent chance?

 

I already put cash down on pac by ko round 1,2 & 3. Should it happen, that roughly £1000 for me. I also put cash down on hatton by KO, just to cover my back

 

All of Manny's opponents are being reported as "dangerous" and "toughest fight ever" for Manny.

It's the know-it-all local "boxing experts" who are the ones saying that "________ will get beat up by Pac in 8 rounds or less" or "Manny will dominate ______ easily."

The only opponent in recent memory where the press didnt give a big chance of beating Pac was Fashang 3-K Battery back in December 2004. A stay busy fight for Pac in preparation for 2005. 3-K Battery was smaller and was a career 122 pounder. They fought at featherweight.

To be fair Bula,most of us were duped with that one,so no shame.
The majority expected a strong, rehydrated,replenished Oscar following the weigh-in,not the weakling Skeletor version.

I actually had a bet with my younger brother, I picked a DLH win, he picked Pac. Didnt matter if it was by decision or KO. I was still rooting for Manny to win, though.

Of course, if a news team asks a random Filipino, man on the street segment about this fight, they'll probably say

I have to admit I had Oscar nailed on for that one (and lost money!).

 

many are thinking that ricky will bring the fight to manny in the first few rounds. but i sense that it is the other way around. it will be manny who will terrorize rickly relentlessly by attacking him at every angle imaginable within the first three rounds.if my prediction will come true, roach prdiction to knock out ricky within 3 is highly possible. after the diaz and dela hoya's fights, i feel manny is becoming a consumate and confident fighter fully aware of his punching power if unleash with full force.

 

Sorry mate but I really can't see that happening. What in either of Pacs or Hattons records makes you think Pac will KO Hatton early?
