What kind of questions does this answer?

What kind of questions will it create?

What does it say about boxing?

Is it good or bad for the sport?

In my mind, it answers some questions, but raises even more. I think it confirms the fact that Valuev is nothing more than a circus act. For one, I believe that Valuev is not a boxer, but a big man that someone has been able to teach how to look like one. I think he'd fair better against men his own size, because fighting 'down' is a talent in itself, and smaller guys tend to have thier way with him, to an extent. I think losing to a 60 year old Holyfield tells us that Valuev will never be able to establish his mark on the sport because of anything other than size- and we already knew that. BUT- it would tell us that Holyfield isn't quite mush yet, albeit that he's well on his way. But, I think he'd give himself a legitimate reason to keep going. Even though the entire world knows he should stop- should he beat the Pasty Giant, he'd at least have ammunition for his argument that he's still a viable heavyweight. Part of my sadness for Holyfield, beyond the fact that he's hopelessly committed to being a world champion, is the fact that he can't even make a reasonable argument for why he's continuing. He keeps losing. He's not getting any better, faster or stronger. But he's more determined than ever. I would at least be able to cheer for him (quietly) if he were able to regain a title. Also, I want to believe he'd retire as a champion. In the meantime though, I don't think he wins it. I think he gets abused, and our hearts will bleed for him. But honestly, for his sake, I hope he does.

    IMO,
    TBE

Haha yea Valuev will probably win regardless, but if Evander did destroy the Giant it means 3 things. 1 - Evander can still fight and get things done in the ring. 2 - Valuev was overrated and not championship material since he's 7'0" 320 pounds and couldnt stop a 46 year old man. 3 - It doesnt mean much for boxing since neither one of these men could beat a Klitschko. I like Holyfield but he clearly isnt the same fighter he used to be 15 years ago, and why should he be he's 46 years old!

It means that Holyfield will fight for another 10 years! No, it means Valuev is hot garbage and couldn't beat an old man. It also means that Holyfield has something left in the tank and can still hang with most in the division except the Klitschkos.

If Evander wins it means that he's going to fight on and eventually run into a young powerful fighter who will force Evander to take unessassry punishment. He's just going to get hurt..one way or another.

  15. Valuev will regret it to his Grave, and the laughing stock of boxing if he loses to a 46yr old man, but it ain't gonna happen:-(, to damn big and Holy's to washed up he 's been taking punches as a pro since 1984!!:deal almost 25 years!! he will have Alzieheimers in 10 years if he keeps fighting, but it's his decision so let him suffer the consequences:huh

BTW Valuev ko 7, Vander i have a feeling will take a nasty beating tomorrow night.
