If Hopkins beat Haye and grabbed his title, that would be an enormous boost to his legacy. ****ing huge.

    It'd be a fantastic accomplishment.

Then he could unify against Wlad.

    It is doable.....

    It would be good.

BUT only if he does it legitametly.. If it is just a holding fest.. then I wont give him any props for it.

I think Hopkins would have a significant chance at winning against Haye.

Other then weight. There isn't that much size difference between them.

Haye only has a 2" height and 3" reach advantage over Hopkins.

If Hopkins came in at a solid 185-190lbs I think he could be competitive (But not if he comes in at +200lbs). He has very underrated speed. Haye's speed is a bit overrated. He looks fast against slow ass heavyweights but I'm not sure he's that much faster then even a 45 years old Hopkins.

David Haye has never fought anyone even remotely close to Hopkins skill level. Especially defensively.

Should Haye be the favorite? Of course! But Hopkins would be a very live underdog IMO.
