What if investors bought out the ratings organizations, and all promoters and made just one

What are the investors? What are these belts? What value do these belts have if there are no boxers? I don't understand what your point is by repeating investors?

What, you don't think there should be a boxers union? That they shouldn't look after these guys? Why does the NFL take care of their own, but boxing can't get its proverbial head out of its ass? Fyi, the NFLPA came into existence because the players wanted it, and they used what power they had by boycotts to make it happen.

I agree. Bu the thread started with the idea of having investors buying the big ABC´s.
But who/what could unify the entire sport?
Even the JBC has loosened it´s stance on the ABC belts...

I think that Pac and Floyd with their power could have started the movement, created the spark. They moved mountains to make that fight and the whole world came to watch. That's just how much clout those two collectively wielded. I think it would start with the boxers, but the way the sport is structured now it's all about keeping boxers down, stupid and ignorant of their fundamental rights. Promoters rip them off, sanctioning bodies don't protect them, ABC's rip them off, etc etc. And about the belts, I don't think the belts have any value, definitely NO intrinsic value so those would be tossed for a world championship, ala a yearly tourney like Pro Tennis or something to that effect. Pro Tennis has its share of pay inequalities too but it's not as bad as boxing and Tennis is gigantic unlike boxing's puny size. I look at the NFL and NBA, then I look at boxing, and I think to myself wtf is wrong with boxing?

I don't know who or how, but I really feel boxing is just ****ed up and stuck in the dark ages with rampant corruption. Is it strange to think that things should be different?

You know that as soon as they did a bunch of people who worked for the organizations would split off and form a new group, right?
