What if Jacobs jumps on Canelo early like he did to Quillin?

I agree. Pick his spots to drop bombs and get out quick and jab. He can't stop moving his feet, same game plan as against GGG. I think Jacobs is pretty good inside for a tall guy, really goes for it and throws wide, fast shots with his shoulders going all over the joint. He might cut or swell Canelo around the eyes with how unpredictably he can move inside.
I'm struggling to get a line on how good Danny is at the moment. If he fought to the level he did against GGG he can win but he's looked less impressive against Arias, Sulecki had more success than I expected and an SD against Derevychenko.
I'll be interested to see how the height and weight affects this fight.

    Nah...

Canelos simply too good for that, imo.

If Jacobs tries that it will be a tactical error imo. Will just gas him a bit and leave him open to a counter bomb.

Canelo likes a measured pace. That's Golovkin's biggest weakness against Canelo - he fights at a measured pace and allows cinnamon to use his countering skills to the max. Jacobs lets his hands fly more, and it will be interesting to see if Canelo can deal with it.

Yeah and another thing with Jacobs long tall body if he stays right in front of Canelo for too long Canelo will find plenty of targets to dig in hard shots to Jacobs body. Like you said Jacobs should pick his spots to jump inside and drop bombs, then get out of dodge real quick and get back to jabbing, he don't want to stay in front of Canelo for too long or he'll get ravaged to the body.

Difference being is Quillin is **** as a defensive or intelligent fighter. Canelo (whether you think Jacobs is superior to him or not and I do), is far too intelligent of a fighter to get caught cold. I find the notion fairly inconceivable.

He might run into one like he did against Paulie level featherfist Sergo Mora. Jacobs best bet is to run like he did against GGG and use his movement and length against Clenelo Cemento feet but if he does that he'll still need to score a brutal HL reel KO to come away with a draw.
