What if Juan Carlos Gomez Won??

Yeah, I was wondering if a mandatory meant you couldn't write one of those in.

Isn't the winner supposed to fight Maskaev? A Gomez win would be an exciting change, but my guess is he'd just start fighting as many non-descripts as he could. I wouldn't see him trying to unify any time soon. He'd stay away from Haye until Hay was mandatory. We'd probably end up with Gomez/Toney - the old names would probably be his best risk/reward.

Then big Bro Vitali wouldn't be able to save Wlad.....hopefully Haye could fight Gomez, force a fight with Wlad, smash him up then retire.



Coz I'd hate to see what happens when Haye gets floored proper by a big HW.

 

It would make for another big title defense for Wlad.
