Lomachenko is blessed to have another title shot despite his loss to Salido..The dude's been given two World Title shots alreadyy, even Rigondeaux, who in my sincere opinion is better than Loma, wasnt afforded this luxury when he first turned pro...

I'm not saying Loma wont win, but Gary Russel Jr. is no pushover, hence the reason that there might be a big possibility that Loma might taste his second straight loss...

This is a make or break situation for him...

If Loma does lose, his pro career is gonna be way worse than Audley Harrison's, being a 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist having lost two out his first three pro fights and failing to live up to the hype provided to him by the media before he turned pro...

If he doesnt come out victorious, its over for him. He's gonna get ditched by TR. Uncle Bob definitely isnt giving him a third title shot in a row...

    Thoughts???

He'd be 1-2 if he lost. He won his debut match.

You're right though. It would really bad for him to lose.

I think after the salido loss his management should have slowed down and had him take some easier, but still competitive, fights. I don't think it's a must win fight, but if he loses, I think they need to slow down.

The Global Boxing Orgs should recognize the fights those guys were having in those tourney's overseas.

If the counted em he'd be 6-1.:think

My apologies, I forgot his dismantling of that Tomato Can guy whose name I cant recall...

I already made the necessary corrections to the thread title...Hope your satisfied..

And by the way Mr. dipsh*t, dont bring Salido's weight into this...A lot of great fighters beat opponents way bigger than them... if Loma was truly a special fighter, he couldve found a way to win against a flat-footed, slow as molasses, crude fighter in Salido..

yea man the salido fight still pisses me off that was sum bs and and fights in texas are usually fishy..

salido dirty ass had all that **** planned n lost cuz of lack of experience in the pro game.

even his handlers n all that shoulda not allowed that fight to happen in texas an even when he didnt make weight that fight shoulda been cancelled

n then the low blows that was all the refs fault that ish was sum bs..

    loma got screwed that night

Well if he does it means that he's just not really good enough for that pro level yet, he'll have to go back to drawing board and start again with lower level of opposition, make about 5-10 fights, then maybe another title shot if lucky? Who knows. It's obviously not a great thing though.
