I think these could all potentially be good fights, however Tommy Morrison is probably the only one that I'd pick Lyle to beat. I would have to favor Holmes, Norton and Bowe over him..

great reply. im inclined to think the same way. although i could see him getting past holmes ,huge upset and most likely ko if it happened. i always thought lyle was better than portrayed.

Seeing how Norton fared against punchers it's hard for me to favour him over Lyle. Lyle had power, durability, decent stamina and skill, and a **** load of guts. He takes Morrison and probably Norton, but not the others. Against Bowe it depends a lot on which Bowe turns up, though.

Lyle would have beat all of them except Holmes. Holmes was a little too crafty for Lyle. Might have been interesting at times but I still see Holmes winnning.

Prime versions of Bowe and Holmes would dominate Lyle. Norton is hard to call... either Norton beats him by a comfortable decision, or Lyle stops Norton as many did.

As for Morrison, he stands the least chance of all, but he does have a puncher's chance. That left hook was murderous.

Holmes is an obvious favourite but I make Lyle a very live underdog and an upset is possible.

Bowe I make 55-45 over Lyle

Norton 40-60, Ron hits too hard and boxes too well for Norton to get into rhythm

Morrison is big underdog. Gets out boxed, and if necessary out bombed

Lyle has a chance vs all of them, I like him over Norton, Ken was no good vs a banger. Bowe was eratic and not always in the best of shape but I could see that fight going 12 and a close nod for Bowe but Lyle could pull it off, Riddick was not spectacular. Holmes should out box him with jab and movement but Lyle was as good of a puncher as snipes and more durable than Shavers. Morison outboxed Foreman and Stopped Rudduck but was blown out by Mercer and Bent so it would depend on which Tommy showed up. Lyle should lose to all but Morison and Norton but he could also score an upset over Bowe but I think Holmes should beat him but that right hand over the left jab could cause Larry some trouble
